Hi, my name is Marvin Santoso, my id number is 2001548472 and i’m an Information Technology scholar.

So on December 4, me and a few of my friends was participating and event called DV Run. It was held at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. What we have to do is just go run for 5 km. At first it seems easy, but after 1 km i was running out of energy and i can’t run any further hahaha. So i decided to just walk until it finished. It was a lot of fun and in the end we got some sort of medal given by some child. We then take pictures and we just blather. Actually the event is not ended yet, it still has some performance but sadly i can’t stay until the end of the event.

The reason i joined this event is because i want to have fun with my friends. Also donate some money for charity. Last but not least i need the community hours as a requirement to graduate from Binus University.

There’s so much lesson i got from this event. Like we have to think about other people that are not lucky as we are. We have to help them and one of it’s way is by donating.

For poor kids out there i just want to say keep learning keep fighting no matter what happens. It’s not your fault if you born poor but it’s your fault if you die poor. And never give up.

And what we can give to some poor child is of course goods and services. We can donate some money, some clothes. We also can be their teacher, helping them to survive this world.
